B+W Ecommerce implementation

About The Project

Minneapolis based B+W Specialty Coffee has continuously preserved the integrity of coffees from around the world. Client requested an ecommerce solution for their day today activities from selling the product, online payment processing, order tracking, offering different promotions, tracking shipments and so on.

Based on the analysis we have planned to integrate Prestrashop ecommerce platform for B+W coffee company, MN, USA. All common ecommerce functionality can be customized in a short time frame with quality. In our solution, web admin will manage products via admin panel, manage orders, payments, customers, employees, shipping etc.

The Methodology
ACTIVITIES: As a project manager I was involved on managing the overall project goal by following agile distributed method, resource planning, sprint planning, Task assignment, communicating with client and getting confirmation. Doing R&D on proposed solution, Organizing daily scrum, Sprint review meeting after completion of a sprint, backlog review, weekly updating client with status report, reviewing daily progress, weekly review of overall status etc.

As a Technical Architect I was involved in designing the wire frame. Suggesting an appropriate ecommerce environment, module customization planning, Providing architecture guidelines on tasks, discussion on logical road maps of tasks and so on. Also Involved in overall deployment of the project on the hosting server.

We have completed 2 phases of the project with good feedback. Client have further plan to enhance the feature on later versions.
