ACTIVITIES: Printlinkstudios.com is a commercial website where individuals or companies can create custom marketing graphics related materials. Client was not so tech savy and could not come up with a clear requirement. Based on clients various prospect and after considering the issues we had built a business requirement documentation and finally we got approval of the project plan as below.Based on client issue we have proposed a web based solution where, User can select pre-designed static templates and/or variable data templates. The text on the variable data templates can be customized to meet the customer needs. After entering the variable data, the template proof can be forwarded to a 2nd level approver for review and final approval. Upon proof approval, the primary user will receive an email stating the proof is approved, and they can complete the order. Primary user will have the option to download for self-print (hi-res PDF without crop marks), to download to send to the users preferred print vendor (hi-res PDF with crop marks), have PrintLink Studios print, or send template by email. User will also have options to upload their contact list (for mail and/or email), so print vendor will print and mail marketing inserts directly to the user’s customers. If PrintLink Studios is the print vendor, the selected print vendor will receive the order notification via email. The print vendor will mail the product or ship the product directly to the user. User will have the option to enter their preferred shipping vendor and account number. Based on the user’s print/ship preference, final cost will be presented to the user, including shipping and sales tax, if applicable. User can make payment via secure credit card transactions, eCheck, or purchase order number. (Purchase Orders can be entered for approved users only.)

Additional items for consideration:

• Shopping Cart. Item(s) can be placed in a shopping cart for order completion at a later time, or for multiple orders.

•Conduct a marketing campaign with one order. Order a direct mail campaign(s) and email campaign(s) and select specific ship dates.

•Printing estimate page.

•Can’t find what you’re looking for? Custom graphic design available.

•Users will have the ability to order a marketing program, which will allow them to order a mail campaign and email campaign for distribution on specific dates.

•Website administrator will have full control over the content, customer, graphics inventory etc. via a secure admin module.

As a project manager I was involved on managing the overall project goal by following agile distributed method, resource planning, sprint planning, Task assignment, communicating with client and shake holders and getting confirmation about the requirement that we have listed on a specific task basis. Organizing daily scrum followed by a team lead. Sprint review meeting after completion of a sprint, backlog review, resources skill matrix preparation, weekly updating client with status report, reviewing daily progress, weekly review of overall status etc.

As an Architect I was involved in designing the wire frame. Providing architecture guidelines, discussion on logical road maps of tasks, sometimes involved as a project lead to support on critical issues. Also Involved in overall deployment of the project on the hosting server. Managing hosting servers, reviewing files and databases and making sure everything is properly set for demonstration etc.

On February, 2013 we have developed an application considering the above scope and made a final demonstration to the client. The project is on beta testing now. Client is testing the project and making a further enhancement plan for future release.
